my daughter and I had her hair done with henry. my daughter hair came out nice. I went in on a separate day, Henry did not do a consultation as I requested, he started doing my keratin treatment. MY HAIR WAS BURNED ALL ALONG THE FRONT OF MY FACE. my hair is fryed, chopped, extremely damaged, I emailed Henry and had no response I know the reviews posted are great, and this is why I went, but would not recomend any one to go there, it's expensive, I went to 3 other salon, told them my story, and they all said, there is nothing I can do, but will take about 1 year to grow back and repair so disappointed in people making money off innocent people. we think we are going to a professional, willing to pay their fees, but their dishonesty is unbelievable that money won't go far, it's cursed income.
It should be mentioned to the client that by doing a keratin treatment that the curls in the hair will no longer be there and that going foward the hair pattern will change to straight. It should not be about money but honesty that is owed to the client which was not the case when we attend and after six months still no curls just limp straight hair.
We are sorry about the result didn't come out as you expected. We normally try to make the treatment last and work as good as possible. We should have asked about what you expected from the beginning, we would had used a milder formula on you. We apologize for any inconvenience that we created for you.
After reading the reviews on here, I went to see Henry and got a keratin straightening treatment done. I'm still speechless! Henry was fantastic; very hospitable, very knowledgeable, and is incredibly experienced. I have been fighting with my incredibly thick, curly and frizzy hair for years and Henry gave me a miracle. I still can't believe how my hair looks and feels and I'll never trust anyone else with my hair again! I'll be going back for years...THANK YOU HENRY!!!
Never in my life have I had a hair stylist as gifted as Henry. Actually, Henry IS a gift. He is a hair designer and colourist extraordinaire. When he has worked with my hair, I have not had to wash it at home like I used to do when I went to other stylists. His work is perfection. Unbelievable, considering that he works with superhuman speed. Fast and perfect---it's a winning combo. Also, very entertaining. Maria
I have thick, frizzy hair which Henry straightened. It took three hours. Henry did an excellent job and I love the results. I found this place through an online deal and I'm glad I took the chance. Henry is very hospitable too, offered coffee or water. The first impression wasn't great though: a poster is all askew over the doorway, dead plant leaves in the plants. It would be a more impressive salon with little touch ups to make it neat. I'm not giving a full five stars because of that.
I have been a regular customer at Nouveau for over 5 years and have generally been pleased with the haircuts I received. However, although I have asked for the exact same hair style every single time, I still have to repeat what style I want. A month ago, I went to Nouveau for a haircut and my stylist misinterpreted the directions I gave her for the style I wanted (which was the exact same style as the one I always ask for) and I was given a haircut that I was completely unsatisfied with. She told me to return in two weeks so she could cut the sides of my hair again (once the top grew out a bit) free of charge. I didn't come back in two weeks because my hair was still too short for a cut. Instead, I came back a month later. After my haircut, my stylist charged me FULL PRICE! She made no effort whatsoever to compensate me for the terrible haircut she had given me just a month earlier. Considering that I have been going to the salon for over 5 years, as well as the salon's promise of guaranteed satisfaction or it's free, it can reasonably be said that the salon poorly treats at least some of its regular customers.
Had a haircut and colouring done with Henry. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain what products he will be using and addressed all of my concerns. Definitely will recommend to other friends about this salon. So happy to have found a salon uptown that does such an excellent job. At the end I loved my haircut and the colouring left my hair very shinny and healthy looking.
I got a deal online for this salon. I went for cut, color and style. My cut was not what I asked for it was a straight cut with no style. I requested for layers, did not receive that. I got a color and you could still see the previous color in between. It was poorly done. I did not like the service of this salon. The staff were friendly but that didn't make up for the lack of professionalism in their service. Very disappointed.
