This salon has to be by far one of the best salons I have been to in the Woodbridge area. The staff are welcoming and young/trendy and they know the latest styles . The salon is clean and professional! My colour and cut was the best I have ever received! Thank you for making me look and feel fabulous
Went in for a wash and dry today, as the hairdresser was combing through my hair she accused me of having lice, she spoke loudly in front of other customers and the owner. Funny thing is she continued combing my hair, in the meantime I felt embarrassed and eager to have my hair checked by a professional. Fortunately, I was advised that i didn't have lice. Once I got home I called the owner of the shop. She did not take ownership and was very defensive. Needless to say the owner stated that she was there doing her own hair when this happened but didn't Feel I was embarrassed. WOW!!!! Hair salons need to keep in mind the safety of their customers, therefore if they feel someone has lice they should refuse serving them.

This is the best salon I have ever been to in the woodbridge area ! The staff are always friendly and very welcoming ! I have never been dissapointed and they always seem to amaze me in getting my cut and colour right everything i go . This is the first salon that i have never had to wait and they always take you right at your scheduled time . your work is superior, keep up the great job !!!
Love this salon !!! They treat you like family and make you feel welcome everytime you visit! I have extreamly curly hair and andrew understands just how to cut my hair! My hair always looks amazing and I get stopped everywhere I go by people asking where I get my hair done ! The root of hair truly is the best salon in woodbridge !!!!
I have been going to The Root of Hair since they first opened their doors! There are many reasons why I go back year after year (Even after moving 200kms and soon 1800kms away from Vaughan). Not only does my hair look absolutely amazing when I leave, but the personal touches of the salon staff is really what keeps me coming back. No matter how long it's been Amato always remembers small details of what we talked about last time I was in. Tiff and Andrew are always so welcoming each time I walk in the door. Each one stops by Amato's chair while I am getting my hair done for a quick chat. I know I will be a customer at The Root of Hair for years and years to come! Keep up the great work guys :)
The root of hair studio is the best salon in woodbridge i have been to yet ! From the minute I walked in the staff is so pleasent and very welcoming! This is the first salon that everyone says hi to you even though they are not the stylist doing your hair. I had an amazing consultation! This was the first time that a stylist asked me what i hate about my hair.....and i was able to express what i didnt like. I had an amazing colour done by tiffani .The colour smelled great cause they use ammonia free colour aswell it was the first time it didnt really itch . Andrew gave me the best cut i have ever had and Amato has amazing hair washing skills. This salon is by far the best salon in woodbridge I have ever been to. The root of hair studio has me now as there new clients and i will be going there for years to come. YOU GUYS ROCK
I want every person who reads these reviews to know that Tiffani is the best colourist in the WORLD.. and Andrew (her husband) gave me the sharpest cut ever. You guys rock, i am recommending you to everyone love you guys Linda P.S. Amato gives the most incredible hair washes xoxo
WARNING!!! This place is NOT professional and do not know how to cut hair. I got a cut and realzied after I got home that they completely messed up the front, my whole head is completely uneven. The hair dresser did not listen to what I was telling him and asked me the same questions over and over. Also he cut my hair WAAAAY too short. DO NOT RECOMMEND, CUT YOUR OWN HAIR BEFORE GOING HERE!!!
I agree completely. I received the worse haircut ever at this salon. Like you my hair is all uneven, short pieces and long pieces and doesn't fall properly at all. I have never written a review but it's 10 months later and it's still a mess. Andrew cannot cut curly hair regardless of what he says so don't bother. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
hello, my name is angie. I was a desperate woman seeking to get my roots done and came across The Root of Hair which uses ammonia free colour and products. This was a bonus considering that i am pregnant. I would definately recommend this salon to everyone especially to alll the pregnant women like me that are looking for a colour that is permanent and covers those stubborn greys.
