This lady named Tearesa in her 60s ruined my first experience of dying my hair when I came to complain she was very rude and not accomodating unprofessional she is so uncertified with hair don't do hair from her she charged me 140$ and 60$ on top that to fix it she was really rude to me and my mom she has other bad reviews she can't do hair I wanted dark brown and it's totally a different colour she does not know how to do her job with hair colouring will not be a returning customer she had a rude attitude And she did not offer a refund or a free overdo and she kept me waiting and helped other people who came after me Dont do ur services from tearea a blonde in her 60s and she dyed my hair blonde orangy first without asking me I give 1000 negative stars very Crappy service Ii should never trust old people to do ur hair heres the pictures she totally ruined it I got lots of bad feedback about my hair I wish I could say more the main idea she can't do hair and she keeps u waiting and she increases the prices and takes advantage very pressuring and manipulating bad service waste of money and time never trusting her with my hair I will delete this if I get a full refund I hope she goes out of business it's sad she's the manger
went there dec 24 for cut colour and style was told my hair would be 69.99 -my hair is above my shoulders so not long at all the colour was ok a lot lighter than normal but owner lady insisted I get a few Highlites and stupidly I agreed when I cashed out she started calculating and came to the conclusion my cost would be 180$ I could not believe it she even had the audacity to take a shampoo from one of her displays and tell me this is a gift for you and your new hair colour for the price I paid she should have given me a lot more than one bottle of so called "free shampoo" which I clearly paid for not goin back again place is empty for a reason
DO NOT GET ANY FACIAL I asked for the grand classic facial with the steam, microbial mask, and calming redness. I RECIEVED NONE OF IT BUT WHAT COULD I DO?? The black lady charged me $85 to put two dirty towels on my face soaked in hot tap water, do extractions on half my face, and put a mask on for 5 minutes and not even letting it dry before wiping it off. She didn't even wear gloves and did the extractions and massaged my face with rough hands that irritated and hurt my face -- and I had gone there to calm my face! On the other hand, Anna (a different lady) did a very delicate and good wax but the hair colour she gave me was blue when the light hit it so I had to go get the colour removed and redone at another salon. WASTED MY MONEY AND THEY STILL WERE PUSHING MORE GARBAGE SERVICES ON ME AND CONSTANTLY TRYING TO SELL ME PRODUCTS - JOICO - NUMBER ONE IN THE WORLD BUT THEY JUST HAVE THE SHAMPOO NOT THE CONDITIONER - CASH ONLY $20.... UPSET MY LONG WEEKEND AND ROBBED MY MONEY. At first I felt sorry that the blonde lady owner was yelling and snapping at the black lady but, after the facial, I can see she must have deserved it although I didn't need to hear it. All of them should get out of the salon business.
I went to the Ray Daniel salon and spa on Rexdele 3 weeks ago just when i was walking to the Mall i was tired and i saw their special for the massage and i was so happy, i ask in the front, they were so nice even the Manager (lady with blonde hair) was very nice and frendly, i did the 1 hour massage and it was very good I recommend to everyone to come here
I can absolutely confirm that what many people are saying in these negative reviews are very true as I had a bad experience myself. I had my baby's ears pierced by the manager (same one as everyone here has been talking about). When I asked her how much it would cost at first, she said $28, then when it was time to pay she said $39. She hardly made any eye contact with me, the customer. She seemed to not want to answer my questions directly. I should have left this place right there and then. When I told her that I my other 3 daughters' ears were pierced by 2 people at the same time, she told me that it would be fine doing one at a time. (Unfortunately, the other places I went to stopped doing ear piercings and I couldn't find one at the time). After the first piercing, my daughter naturally cried. She kept moving for the second one, and I realized when I got home that the second one was done crooked, into her ear cartilage (so more skin was taken in, of course), the backing was so tight that it went into her neck, and it couldn't breath to heal properly. I took it off after 2 months b/c it was clearly inflamed, even after consistently cleaning it. After it heals I'll take it to a real professional place to get it re-done. And the manager was very rude and unprofessional to a young employee who was trying to help. The manager also wouldn't allow me to sit down during the piercings b/c she said she would have to bend. This was clearly a very uncomfortable position for both my daughter and I. I didn't even bother asking for a partial refund b/c I knew that if the manager treated her own employees with little respect, then why in the world would she give a refund to a one-time customer??? I would definitely not recommend this salon for any purpose.
I went to this place because the usual salon I go to in that mall had a one hour waiting time and I didn't have time for that. So I gave this place a try after seeing a sign outside that said "$25 for wash cut and style". Since my hair is long they said it would be $39. I wasn't interested in styling my hair because I was going home right after the cut, so I asked how much it is for just a cut. The hairdresser just rushed me to the chair even though I kept asking numerous times what the price was. Finally she told me it's $28. So I agreed. Sat in the chair and told her I wanted a straight shoulder length cut with LONG layers and layers framing my face. The hairdresser was obviously inexperienced. Cut bluntly and didn't know how to cut layers. I repeated what I wanted again but she doesn't listen or respond. At the end I had a v shaped hairstyle at the back and choppy uneven layers framing my face. It looks like a toned down version of a mullet. I AM NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN! By far the worst haircut I ever received!
My family had the worst haircut experience here. The owner (a blonde lady) is very rough and unprofessional. She yells at her employees in front of customers and hurts the customers when she cuts your hair. I went in for a trim and she ripped at my hair (which I have been told is wonderful to cut because it is straight and not overly knotty) when combing and pinning it up. She also made my 7 year old brother cry because she was rough with the shaving sheers. We had to force her to stop cutting his hair because she wouldn't stop even when he was crying in the chair. He refused to let her finish gelling and styling her hair because she was so rough. She was not even sorry about making him cry and charged us full price for a half done job. For a dry hair trim, it was $35, which is ridiculous. There was another employee there who seemed gentle and good at her job but the owner lady was yelling at her for taking a phone call. This other lady should own the shop and the present owner lady should NEVER cut hair again. If you do go, pray you don't get the blonde owner lady.
Horrible experience! One ear pierced so off centre that it sticks into my neck. Huge mistake walking into this crap salon. Spoke to other shop owners in Rexdale woodbine centre, and they say everyone is unhappy with any service they get here! Do your research! My bad. Six weeks before daughters wedding.
I went to the Woodbine location two weeks ago and got service by the manager. She was very nice and patient. She was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend people to visit her for service. Loving my eyebrow tattooing and piercing!
I had long hair half way down my back and it was New Years 2008. I go in and get my hair cut by this huge bald guy named Tony.....I told him 1/2" off everywhere layers included....I leave there with my hair just touching my shoulders 13" gone and all uneven.....I do NOT recommend anyone go there espically to him as he dosent have a clue what the hell he or anyone else in there is doing.....Thank God they closed up shop at the Bramalea City Center
