This was my worst haircut experience ever. Although I did call prior to making an appointment, and spoke with the receptionist just to make sure that the stylist that was to cut my hair specialized in long hair cutting and styling, it seems like I was lied to.
To begin with, a “deep hair” treatment of $20 was nothing more than a liquid vial that did not even cover all my hair, and had to wait by the sink for 20 minutes. The cut was also a disaster as the stylist insisted on giving me the haircut that he thought was best for me and not what we ‘ve discussed before cutting. After the initial disaster, a second one followed as the stylist passed me over to a trainee to blow dry my hair. After a 5 minute drying session, I was put in rollers, and I spent 20 minutes under the hood, only to come out looking worse than I ever looked in my life. To be a little more specific, I was given short layers that I did not ask for, and did not even blend - in with the rest of my hair. When I pointed out that I find the cut not to be to my expectations, his reply was that he liked it.
The whole unpleasant experience cost me $101 and this would be my first and last time visiting that salon. I would not go back, even if they were to offer free haircuts.
Unfortunately, I have to select a rating, but in all honesty, based on my overall experience, I wouldn’t even give them half a star.
pss- you may find Vo5 treatments at walmart.
you should try them. Thats why they have those cheap places. What are you complaining about? a deep treat ment means you sit with product in your hair. Are you new to this? and the longer it sits, the deeper the treatment. then you complain about sitting under a dryer. How else do they try and tame your mess, which you probably walked in with. Have you ever styled your hair? it doesnt happen in five minutes. Salon Gaboa has been in business for quite some time now. Im sure they know how to cut hair. And do you think a cut and blow dry is less than $100. This shows how long it has been since you have been out in the real world. Get real.
PS- the receptionist is by far the best in the industry.
Maybe find a drive through hair cutter. Sounds like your style Dont forget your coupons. Good luck buttercup.
