Domenico Sanelli head stylist for the salon is fortunate to have a broad spectrum of education under his belt. As an ambassador for L’Oreal Professional, he has received training with the L’Oreal team and was a finalist in last year’s L’Oreal Color Trophy in Montreal. With Joanne as his technical partner they placed within top 5 for all of Canada. Domenic was also fortunate to have spent 3 months in Rome with the Copola hair group receiving an extensive training in cutting, styling and Great Length and Fusion hair extension. Domenic is a specialist in men’s cutting and styling, fine hair cutting, technical straightening and women’s styling. Joanne Amico comes equally educated. Having spent the last 10 years at one of Bloor West Village’s most prominent salons, Joanne is a graduate of Capucci Salon and Spa’s technical program. She has also been honored at the L’Oreal color trophy two years in a row. Her first year being considered for Newcomer and placed top five in 2006. Magnolia Salon Boutique

The owner of The Magnolia Salon Boutique, Tracy Dean, came into the stylist industry after years in the esthetics field. She decided to follow in the footsteps of her older sister Marilyn, who had been a successful stylist for many years. After working as a licensed stylist for several years Tracy became extremely ill and Doctors advised her that she had developed a severe allergy to the hair coloring products. This allergy forced her out of the career that she loved and she believed that she would not be able to ever return.

In 2009, her sister Marilyn became ill and Tracy returned to work as a stylist to help her out until she recovered. Sadly, Marilyn had developed cancer and succumbed to the disease in December 2009. Tracy then decided to continue Marilyn's work.

The time Tracy had been away from the industry had brought about some big changes and after some heavy research discovered the Davines line of products that focussed on eliminating the heavy ammonias that stylists have suffered through for many decades. Tracy embraced the Davines concept and has opened The Magnolia Salon/Boutique to combine her skills with the health conscious products that have finally allowed her to renew her passion.
